As the code enforcement officer for the Town of Starkey, I have many different responsibilities. I have three official titles: Building Official, Zoning Official, and Watershed Inspector.

As the Building Official I have the responsibility of enforcing the NYS Building and Fire Code, issuing building permits, completing construction inspection and fire inspections.

As the Zoning Official, I enforce the zoning book requirements and work with the Planning and Zoning Board of Appeals.

As the Watershed Inspector, I am responsible for issuing permits for new or replacement septic systems and inspections on the installation of the systems. Record keeping is also a very important part of the job.
