Meetings are held on the 1st Tuesday of the Month at 7:30PM. The Planning Board meets to discuss and determine zoning requirements of the Town Of Starkey dealing with Special Use Permits, Short Term Rentals, Subdivision, as well as Site Plan Review and general zoning guidelines.

The Planning Board is an administrative board which has the responsibility of shaping guidelines for future development, based on The Comprehensive Plan.  As a Planning Board member, you will craft and present changes of new/existing regulations to the town council for adoption, as well as hold public hearings on various applications for development or proposed ordinance changes, and to discuss topics related to growth management and community planning according to current zoning regulations, and State and Federal rules that may apply. 

Our core group of members bring years of experience and backgrounds.
