NOTICE is hereby given, that I, Candace J. Iszard the undersigned Collector of Taxes of The Town of Starkey, County of Yates, and State of New York, have duly received the tax warrant for the collection of taxes within the Town of Starkey for the year 2024. Taxes will be received via drop box at the Five Star Bank, 32 Main Street, Dundee, NY, at the following times: January, February, March - Hours: Monday-Thursday: 9:00 am to 4:00 pm and Friday: 9:00am to 6:00 pm and via mail at Five Star Bank, C/o Town of Starkey, Tax Collector PO Box 187, Warsaw, NY 14569.
TAKE FURTHER NOTICE, that taxes may be paid on or before January 31, 2024, without the charge of interest. On all taxes received after such date, there shall be added interest of
1% If paid on or before February 29, 2024, and an additional 2 % if paid on or before
April 1, 2024.
TAKE FURTHER NOTICE, that pursuant to the provisions of law the tax roll of the Town of Starkey will be returned to the County Treasurer of the County of Yates on the 2nd day of April 2024 at which time a penalty of 5% plus 12% interest per annum will be added.
